History of the Event
Since 1983 Austin Junior Forum (AJF) has ushered in Austin’s holiday season with Christmas at the Caswell House. Every year we look forward to opening our historic Daniel H. Caswell house to the community during this special time. AJF members spend approximately 2000 hours preparing for and hosting our signature fundraiser where guests shop for beautiful ornaments, holiday décor, jewelry, clothing, affordable gifts and delicious gourmet foods. They also attend our many special events, such as: mother daughter teas, weekend brunches, weekday lunches, Women & Wine, Beer & Bites, Milk & Cookies with Santa, and more!
Over the past 33 years, Christmas at Caswell has allowed AJF to make a significant impact on our community. We have distributed over $1.5 million dollars in grants to our partner non-profit organizations! More recently, Christmas at Caswell has also helped support our beloved home, which serves as a venue for weddings, meetings, luncheons, fundraisers, and other events.
AJF would like to thank all of our donors, partners, and guests who have shared in this unique holiday experience and whose generosity has helped further our mission. For a list of grant recipients, please visit our Grants page.
