Benefits of Membership

Founded in 1969, the Austin Junior Forum is a non-profit, volunteer women's organization. Our mission is to support women, children, and the elderly in the Austin, Texas, area through community service and fund raising.
 
 

Membership Opportunities:

• Develop effective leadership skills
• Gain insight into community needs
• Partner with community leaders
• Continue personal growth and fulfillment
• Interact with other women

 

Membership Requirements:

• Any woman may join who has a strong interest in volunteerism and is at least 21 years of age.

 

Obligations of an Active Member:

• Attend a minimum of five general membership meetings per year
• Hostess one general membership meeting
• Participate on one standing committee
• Pay annual dues
• Contribute 40 hours of service towards AJF

How to join AJF:

We welcome you to attend our monthly meetings and other events to familiarize yourself with our organization and members. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at the Daniel H. Caswell House. Social time starts at 5:45pm with the business meeting following at 6:30pm. We would love to answer any questions you have concerning membership in AJF. Please feel to contact us.
