Benefits of Membership
Founded in 1969, The Austin Junior Forum is a non-profit women's organization. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Austin and its surrounding communities through civic, educational & philanthropic endeavors.
Members share the opportunity to:
- Develop effective leadership skills
- Gain insight into community needs
- Partner with community leaders
- Continue personal growth and fulfillment
- Interact with other women
Membership Requirements:
- Any woman may join who has a strong interest in volunteerism and is at least 21 years of age.
Obligations of an Active Member:
- Attend a minimum of five general membership meetings per year.
- Hostess one general membership meeting.
- Participate on one standing committee.
- Pay annual dues.
- Contribute 45 hours of service towards AJF.
How to join AJF
We welcome you to attend our monthly meetings as well as other events to familiarize yourself with our members and organization. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at the Caswell House. Social time starts at 6pm with the business meeting following at 6:30pm.
We would love to answer any questions you have regarding membership as well as meet you at the Caswell House if you would like to attend any of our monthly meetings.
